ePsych Billing is operated by Alex Trent, who has a Master’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in History and Philosophy of Science, as well as several years of Ph.D coursework in Industrial/Organizational Psychology under his belt.  He taught social psychology at a university along the way, and still does private coaching in his spare time.

Growing up in the Greater Boston, Massachusetts area, Alex developed his expertise in psychology in Miami, Florida before moving to Los Angeles, California.  There he helped launch ePsych Billing, which has over 200 clients and a robust team of experienced mental health billing professionals.  He then moved to Las Vegas in June 2022, where the company now operates.  Equipped with both an extensive background in psychology, and experience operating successful businesses, Alex is primed and ready to help your practice grow.

Before sent to the insurance company, every claim will be audited on a daily basis in order to certify that the claim will not be denied because of a clerical error.  We will work with any digital claims system that you are currently using, and if you are using paper claims, we will set up a digital claims system for you at no charge.  If you so request, pre-authorizations will also be sent to insurance companies.
